| Mukteswar Temple |

The Mukteswar Temple in Bhubaneswar was built in the 10th century AD. This exquisitely decorated temple epitomises the culmination of Orissan architecture. It depicts tales from the Panchatantra . The niches on the outer walls have the images of Buddhist, Jaina and Hindu pantheon. The temple is dedicated to the Mukteshwar form of Lord Shiva , which means "the Lord who bestows freedom through Yoga". The temple measures 10.52 meters. The highlight of the temple is the magnificent Torana— the decorative gateway, an arched masterpiece, reminiscent of the Buddhist influence on Orissa's art and architecture. |

The Parasurameswar Temple , built in the late 7th century, is one of the oldest Shiva temples in the city . Located on the eastern side of the Bindu Sagar lake and to the northeast of the Lingaraj temple, this temple boasts of beautiful carvings of elephants and horses in processions, apart from intricately carved windows. In the corner of the temple's courtyard is the Sahasra Linga, i.e., 1,000 small lingas joined together. |

The ISKCON Temple in Bhubaneswar is located on the National Highway-5. In this temple, Lord Krishna Balaram; Jagannath , Bala Bhadra and Subhadra; and Gaura-Nitai are worshiped. There is also a new Radha-Krishna temple in side this premise. |
